Rover
There are Rover automobiles since 1904. Before, the enterprise had manufactured bicycles. 1965 Rover took over Alvis and was taken over 1966 by the Leyland Company, to which belonged also Triumph. 1968 the fusion of Leyland with the British Motor Corporation (BMC -> Austin, Morris, MG, Wolseley, Riley, Jaguar and Daimler) to the British Leyland engine corporation (BLMC) followed.
