The family Peugeot produced already 1889 the first automobiles and is considered today as the oldest still existing car brand of the world. Long before then, they had already manufactured saw blades and bicycles. 1967 Peugeot agreed upon a technical co-operation with Renault. 1967 Peugeot bought the competitor Citroen.
