Vincenzo Lancia founded 1906 the enterprise. Before, he worked at Fiat as a racing driver and a test manager. 1907 he presented the first car, which was called Alfa. 1959 the cement manufacturer Pesenti took over the financially fastened brand and 1969 Fiat took over the command with Lancia.
